Forage Fit Food Located in the dense neighbourhood of Indiranagar, Bangalore, swelling with pubs, cafes and restaurants is the new health food star, Forage Fit Food – an enchanting concept driven restaurant. This place is perfect for every foodie foraging for some healthy food which is truly tantalizing.
The menu is apt but each dish is equal to a wholesome meal. Enticing salads like Beat and Orange Salad – walnuts dressed with red wine vinaigrette, main course like Sea Bass Bites rich in wasabi and chives and Prawns with organic artisanal bacon topped over brown rice are among their other specialties.
Their desserts are not too sugary and don’t at all boast artificial flavours. They have been kept just real with no masked concoctions. Indulge yourself into the Date and Cashew Creme Brulee rich in cashew butter, the herbed desert – Panna Cotta or the Chocolate Torte with loads of almonds.
For once, you don’t have to be guilty because the food here is gluten-free and sugar free. Sugar is replaced with unprocessed cane sugar (you may also stumble jaggery in a few dishes). Processed food is dismissed bringing into loads of natural, healthy alternatives in each and every dish.
The ambience is soothing. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Imagine – a warmly lit cozy little home with vibrant seating and shelves stacked with a variety of books. Isn’t it wonderful? This place is all about such setting. Grab a book and occupy one of the corners while you munch on some Californian healthy dish and coffee, wine or beer. The ambience, staff and food here leave no stone unturned to mesmerize its guests.
While the pricing is on the higher end, the healthy food and rustic interiors make up for it. A spoiler alert: they serve no chicken and paneer. To conclude, visiting Forage is must!
