Recently there was a lot of word about a new super brewery that had opened its doors at Sarjapur road. We decided to head there and give them a try!
If first impressions are said to be the best then Hoot can simply be called a winner! We entered at around 5.30 PM and as the sun was going down, it personified the massive 40,000 square feet of space! That’s precisely what sets this place apart from the others! Space, privacy, and ambience have certainly been given a top priority here! Complete with the sky above and even an infinity pool with a bar, what more could one ask for?
Down to the food, they have a good spread of world cuisine including Continental, Asian, Pizzas, and delectable desserts.
For starters, we would definitely recommend the Pomegranate Chicken, Magic Drumsticks and Stuffed Mushrooms. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the Mushrooms were really delicious, the dip to complemented it really well! A special mention goes to the Pattaya fish, which was delicately spiced, wrapped in a banana leaf and served hot!
If you have bar snacks on your mind, you should try the Nachos (warning: they’re super loaded), Magic drumsticks or the Twisty Tangy Mushroom will surely keep you drinking more!
Pizzas on your mind? Fret not, Hoot has you covered with amazing thin crust goodness, we recommend the Farmhouse and the Bacon with onion! Satisfaction guaranteed!
For the mains, we strongly recommend the Penne Pesto Rossa, the best part being that the pesto wasn’t very strong, and the pasta was al dente! Do try the Chef special NasiGoreng, its fiery and has the perfect amount of kick in it! They also have a host of Indian delicacies ranging from Butter Chicken to Rogan Ghosh! Rice lovers can blindly devour the Biryani!
Finally, the best was saved for the last. The dessert were really out of this world! Literally! They have about 6 desserts but each one equally packed a punch! The best were undoubedtly the Tiramisu and Molten Choco Blast! Try them to find out why!
A special note about the brewery here: The Head Brewmaster André P. LeBlanc who hails from Belgium promises to provide high quality crafted beer with authentic recipes.
Hoot would be the first in the Indian market to bring to the customer’s the legendary St.Martin’s, Abbey Beer and offer them a perfect alliance of tradition & modernity with craft beers.
The must try brews are:– Belgian White, Dark Abbey, Blonde, Tripple(Strong) and Fruit beer. These are exceptional beers, with a fine and subtle flavors, comprising several types of barley and hops and enriched with rare spices.
They also have a host of Cocktails on their menu, feel free to take your pick, incase your worries about the calories, the Fat Free Colada has you covered!
So there you have it, Bangalore’s biggest brewery simplified! Head there today and don’t forget to make a reservations before you go, though it’s 40,000 square feet, it is quite popular and tends to get crowded around weekends!
Stay Hungry! Stay Happy!
