Happy Ramadan to our Muslim readers. To tingle your taste buds after Rosa we bring you the legends of Biryani. We are talking About Biryani Paradise located opposite to Clay Oven at Kanakandy Cirlce.

Mind you, this place doesn’t boast of an ambience so don’t expect it. At the same time they mean serious business when it comes down to food. They concentrate more on the parcel area. This place gets really crowded around meal times. But we assure you that even during the busiest of times your wait won’t be more than 15-20 minutes!

So after a lot of hustling we got ourselves a seat and before we even realized we placed our order and it arrived within a flash! We had ordered for a Garlic Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Mutton Pepper Fry and the quintessential Chicken Biryani.

The Mutton is a must try for mutton lovers, the Garlic Chicken was a great preparation as the garlic and spice had perfectly blended with the chicken. Now the crown goes to the Chicken Tikka one of the nicest we’ve ever had cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. Now we can assure you the same taste anytime you go because the Tandoori Chef has been around ever since the restaurants inception which is more than 25 years! The experience just speaks in the taste.

Down to the Chicken Biryani, it was of a typical Mangalorean style with a little bit of the Malabar touch. It tasted really unique. We liked it as it was something different.

Ultimately if you are looking for a quick meal or a takeaway this is the place. Once again apologies to our vegetarian fraternity.  In the evenings they serve Shawarmas too which are tasty do try them too.

Location: Opp Clay Oven, Mangalore Gate, Bye Pass Road, kankanady, Mangalore – 575002
