Would you want to be served with smoking hot kabab’s and biryani’s late night? Yes you read it right Late night! After many queries about Late night restaurants, we found it important to really search for one in Mangalore.
Diner’s Paradise at Kadri which is located right opp. City Hospital was the one restaurant which is claimed to be open till 1am on the weekdays and 3am on the weekends. Wow!! That sounds amazing!
The place seemed very cold and inhospitable but as we were used to surprises there was another surprise in the AC section upstairs of this place which changed our minds. Unlike down stairs, the AC section was a complete family section with plush interiors and it is newly opened.
Now the BIG question was to find out if the Food was as impressive as the timings?
As we noticed the Tandoor at the entrance , which made us more hungry than ever. We did no delay to order our starters followed by main course.
Well we are never satisfied with a single starter so we ordered a full Chicken Tandoori, Afghani Kabab, Chicken Chilly and we ended up taking a Gobi Chilly in the Veg. The Chicken Tandoori consisted of four large and juicy which pieces managed to raise an eyebrow, and the taste won our hearts. The second dish Chilly Chicken tasted yummy with well cooked tender chicken, before moving on to the veg. We had the last chicken starter the Afghani Kabab which actually turned out to be tastier than expected. Now, all eyes on the Gobi and the first bite told it all , it was too oily and tasted as if someone was experimenting with the dish for the first time in the kitchen.
Then we moved on to the Main Course, with some Butter Roti’s and Chicken butter masala , which tasted nothing less than any South Indian Chicken dish i.e very average. After mixed feeling and opinions on the previous orders we ordered for a Matka Chicken Biryani, Chicken Dum Biryani and a Veg. Biryani. With 3 different biryanis it was nothing less than a biryani war on our table but finally there was one we had to choose and Chicken Dum Biryani won the battle, not to forget the Veg. Biryani also performed well so we could call it the runner up !!
So, now if your really hungry in the night and have any plans to sneak out for food, then Diners Paradise is your place for Good and Decent Biryani with few selective Kababs.
